The 2014 Stakeholders Forum National Dialogue, an event organized by Volunteer corps, a non-Governmental organization whose areas of interest are Education, Health, Environment and Volunteerism. This event took place on the 6th of November, 2014 at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event featured notable personalities in the Nation who spoke at length and expatiated on the Theme: “Deconstructing The Continuing Crises of Standards and Performances in Nigerian Secondary Schools”. Guest Speakers present at the National Dialogue were; Prof. Yemisi Obilade, Dr Keziah Awosika, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo Immediate Past Director of Corona Secondary School, Dr Leke Pitan Former Commissioner for Education and Health, Dr Modupe Adefeso-Olateju Founder/CEO The Education Partnership Centre and Mr Tonye Cole.
The Guest Speakers and some of the participants expressed their displeasure at the deteriorating standards of Education in Nigeria, they also gave practical solutions on how this problem can be tackled and solved. Solving the problem of education isn’t the duty of the Government alone, Teachers, Private Organizations, Parents, Guardians and Students must all work together for this to be achieved. Everyone has a part to play, we should invest more in Education so that Nigeria and the next generation can have a better tomorrow.
