On Friday 22nd August 2014, Nigerian rap star MI Abaga held his “King James” event at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was an art exhibition and leadership based seminar. The art work exhibited were the 8 leadership theme photos released by MI a day before he released his King James track.
The photos had themes of wealth, struggle, service, respect, courage, victory, solitude and family. Each photo and theme had a speaker discuss the concept at the event. The aim of the event was to gather the youths and older members of the society to discuss true requirements and intricacies of leadership.
An array of high profile panelists were present at the event: Toyosi Akerele ( Founder and CEO Rise Networks) spoke on Victory, Audu Maikori Family, Akinwunmi Ambode Courage, Gbenga Shobo(ED, FirstBank) Wealth, Yaw Nsarkoh (MD, Unilever) Struggle, Ojoma Ochai Leadership, Japheth Omojuwa Solitude and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu Respect
