This School is 51years Old (established in 1970) and it’s never had Water.
:
Look at the joy and excitement of this Students of Olubadan High School, Aperin, Oyo State when we went to commission and officially hand over the 4000 Litres Powered Borehole Facility donated by the #VSFCOVID19Interventions to their School earlier this week.
:
We were told the whole school has just 4 Student Toilets and Teachers have to go to Private Homes in the Neighbourhood to answer the Call of Nature because they have no Toilets.
:
Glad that #VSFCOVID19Interventions has now broken a 51 Year Record in this School of almost 1000 Students where they nor their Teachers nor Non-Teaching Staff can flush Toilets, can’t wash their hands, can’t do Nothing that requires Water.
:
In addition to the Boreholes, each of our selected Schools across the Country receives 2000 reusable Face Masks, Liquid Hand Washing Soap, Hand Sanitizers, Jik and Dettol Disinfectants etc.
:
This is a Hygiene and Sanitation initiative of the Victims Support Fund COVID-19 Task Force to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in High Density Population Environments like Schools Nationwide.
