I’m watching my Life and Career unfold right before my very eyes transitioning from a core arts and social sciences aficionado who spent 10years in Youth and Human Capital Development now getting global recognition as a Core Engineering Specialist.
:
Writing Project Concepts, Designing and contributing to developing Project Prototypes, setting up a Tech Testing Lab in Lagos Nigeria, earning Money as an Expert Advisor on core Tech Subjects, growing so fast into the full reckoning of the Global Engineering Industry and being accepted into a PhD Program that allows me to explore the entry points of the Technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution into the National and Economic Security of Countries.
:
I started this journey 3years ago when I realised that Computing and Engineering are too important to be left to men.
:
The way we live, Product Design, industrialization and manufacturing that can create Jobs and power Economies could benefit immensely from diversity and inclusion – the empathy, presence of mind and emotional intelligence of Women.
:
It’s haaaaaaard but today, I remember the words of Marie Curie, the ‘female STEM superhero,’ first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the only woman in history to ever win it twice, and the only human to ever win a Nobel Prize in two different sciences who said “Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done.”
:
At 4pm today, I’ll be representing Rise Networks and Africa speaking on the Ethical Dimensions of #ArtificialIntelligence on the Invitation of the World Federation of Engineering Organisations @wfeo.
How Cool is that? ✌😎
